Melinda Messenger has a new channel Five show - Live from Studio Five - every weekday at 6.30pm till 7.30pm. Melinda has just agreed terms with New Holland Publishers for a Messenger Family Cookbook! Literary news! Congratulations! The Food and Cooking of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania by Silvena Rowe has won an award for Best Book by a Female Chef (in the UK) from the GOURMAND WORLD COOKBOOK AWARDS 2009. This means that the book will also be entered in the “GOURMAND BEST IN THE WORLD” category. The results of this prize will be announced on Thursday February 11, 2010 at theatre Le 104 at the Paris Cookbook Fair. Dr Rob Yeung has signed a six figure three year book deal with Pan Macmillan. His first book - Exceptional- is due out later this year. He will be also doing an Asian tour to coincide with the publication. Dr Rob Yeung's book - Confidence- is in stores now and his new book Personality was WHSmith Business Book of the month last September. Confidence is also being serialised in The Telegraph. Francine Kaye's book The Divorce Doctor is in stores now published by HayHouse. Lisa Doodson has signed a book deal with Vermillion. Her book - How to be a Happy Stepmum - will be published on May 6th. Jess Pryce - Jones book Happiness at work with Wiley Blackwell is published on February 19th! Fantastic book with over 80 interviews! The Launch party will be 24th February - watch this space. Andrew Barton has agreed a book deal with New Holland Publishers for his new book - Shiny Happy Hair - due out in April 2010. Great News Silvena Rowe - the Eastern European Chef - has a two book deal with Random House! Her first book the sensuous -Purple Citrus & Sweet Perfume - is out 2010. Phil Turner is a British DIY expert and presenter. He first became famous after appearing on the Big Breakfast and winning their competition to become 'Builder of the Week'. He most famously appeared on the BBC DIY programme House Invaders and also many Living TV programmes such as Design ER. The channel have even held "Phil T Weekends" which show all the programmes he has appeared in. In 2005 he appeared in the ITV wrestling competition Celebrity Wrestling. In December 2005 Gary married his long term partner and TV Presenter Phil Turner in a lavish ceremony at London's Grosvenor Hotel. This was of course covered by OK! Magazine and the edition became one of OK!'s biggest selling Issues of 2006.
Most recently they have bought a beautiful house which they have totally remodelled themselves.
